Giant, leader mondiale del settore, è alla ricerca di un Bicycle and Gear Buyer (POS) per la sede italiana di Nerviano (Milano). Una figura con esperienza nel mondo cycling, approccio analitico e visione commerciale, chiamata a gestire pianificazione acquisti, forecasting e rapporti con le fabbriche del gruppo in un contesto internazionale.

Giant is the world leader in the bicycle industry, engaged in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high-performance bicycles and components. The Italian sales company is looking for a versatile professional for its Nerviano (MI) office to lead purchasing activities, with a strong sporting spirit and data-driven approach.

Main responsibilities

Purchasing and procurement

• Manage and periodically update all purchasing plans for all products (forecasting)
• Manage all supply relationships directly with all the group’s factories and periodically monitor their progress
• Monitor stocks, sales forecasts, and orders (MRP/ERP).
• Collaborate with production and quality to ensure technical consistency and budget compliance.
• Analyze the supplier market to identify cost-saving and innovation opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales teams& HQ to adjust purchasing strategies based on market trends.
• Participate in procurement assessments during new product development processes.

Requirements

• Experience: min. 4–5 years in similar roles in the cycling or sports industry
• Technical knowledge: bikes, components and accessories.
• Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Tools: excellent knowledge of Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, VBA), mathematical and budgeting/financial feasibility skills; experience with ERP/MRP.
• Soft skills: excellent negotiation, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills and aptitude for cross-functional work.
• Passion for sports: preferably a cyclist (road, gravel, MTB); cultural affinity with the product.
• Car owner and willing to travel abroad for international events or meetings.

Offer

• Full-time, permanent contract.
• Place of work: Nerviano (MI)
• Salary commensurate with experience. Gross monthly salary from 2.500€ to 2.900€
